Process and Material

Research played a big part in the project. The first step was to figure out dimensions and sizes inorder to ensure that the boards and pieces would come together and have a natural feel.
Material reseach was the natural next step and design consideration, Inspiration was saught out from the internet in addition to the initial ideas.
The final boards and pieces are a result of trial and error considering several constraints and factors such as machine capabilities, material availability, time resources and workshop experience.
Material was sourced from different hardware stores (Bauhaus, Biltema, K-rauta, Clas Ohlson etc) and Amazon.
